Dual Output Zones Explained

Each DualZone unit provides two separate three-phase output terminals with independent contactors. You can turn one zone off without affecting the other. This is useful when:

• You want to lock out one machine for maintenance without shutting down the converter
• One machine has a problem and you need to isolate it while continuing to run the other
• You want to run different machinery in different parts of a building
• Electrical code requires individual disconnects for each piece of equipment

NEMA 4 vs Standard Enclosures

NEMA 4 means the enclosure is rated for:

• Dust-tight — no dust ingress under any conditions
• Watertight — can withstand hose-directed water (washdown)
• Rain-tight — suitable for direct outdoor installation (covered)
• Corrosion-resistant steel construction
